    October 15, 2018 is the DEADLINE to register to vote for those planning to vote in the November 6, 2018 mid-term election. Voters may register online at elections.virginia.gov or stop by the office for an application. Applications postmarked by October 15 will be considered timely.

  3. The Office of Voter Registration is Open for Absentee Voting

    October 27, 2018, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    The Office of Voter Registration will be open today for the convenience of voters who want to vote in person by absentee ballot in the November 6, 2018 General and Special Elections. You must provide a qualified reason to vote an absentee ballot. See a complete list at elections.virginia.gov. Please bring an accepted form of photo ID.

  4. Last Day to Request an Absentee Ballot by Mail

    October 30, 2018, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Today is the last day to request an absentee ballot be mailed to you. You may apply online at elections.virginia.gov if you have a Virginia Driver's license or DMV issued ID; otherwise, you will need to submit a completed absentee application to the Office of Voter Registration. You may do this in person, by fax at 276-645-7318 or by scanned email to vote@bristolva.org. Applications must be received by the office by 5:00 p.m.
