Know your options.

We are here to help you request an absentee ballot, learn about early voting options, or locate your polling place. Questions? Call 276-645-7318.

Absentee and early voting give you options for casting your ballot other than the in-person option on Election Day. Virginia has made changes that may make it easier to vote. You no longer need an excuse to vote early in person or absentee by mail!

Three Ways to Vote

Absentee Voting by Mail

You no longer need an excuse to vote absentee! A ballot is mailed to you after you fill out an application (request). You return your ballot by mail or hand deliver it to City Hall during normal business hours.

Early Voting in Person

You no longer need an excuse to vote early! You do not need to apply; just visit City Hall during business hours or on the two Saturdays before the election.
