As of November 18, Connelly & Associates has completed five (5), which is more than half, of the borehole drillings in relation to the installation of the thermocouple system at the quarry landfill. The probes in each well have been set at 165 feet, 155 feet, 218 feet, 200 feet, and 202 feet, respectively. The wells are being capped at the end of each workday in an effort to minimize as much of the gas emissions as possible from the bored holes until the installation of the well casing pipe occurs. We are currently in the process of testing the matter extracted during the drilling process to determine the overall composition, including the organic compounds, and will provide an update when the results become available. The contractor will not be working the week of Thanksgiving and will resume drilling on Monday, November 28. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we anticipate that all of the boreholes will be completed in advance of the December 31 deadline.
