Bristol, VA appreciates the feedback received during and after the Open House held on November 1 in addition to recent sign ups and questions asked through the new landfill focused website BristolVALandfill.org. The new website contains a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section we will continue to update as needed over the months to come. Residents interested in signing up for email updates and new information should sign up through BristolVALandfill.org if they have not already done so. Anyone who had previously signed up on the City’s website should not have to do so again.
Additionally, work on borehole drillings in relation to the installation of the thermocouple system at the quarry landfill will resume on Monday, November 28. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we anticipate that all of the boreholes will be completed in advance of the December 31 deadline
