    Early voting begins September 18, 2020 for the November 3, 2020 General and Special Elections at City Hall. Early voting will continue through October 31. The drive-thru window will be available for voting or you may come inside City Hall and vote at the registrar's office. COVID pandemic guidelines will be in place for voting inside. We request the public wear a mask and observe social distancing while waiting in line and inside the voting area. An ID is required when voting in person.

  2. Early Voting Moves to the City Council Chambers

    Early Voting will move from the Elections Office at City Hall to the City Council Chambers at City Hall. Voters will use the second entrance closest to the parking lot.

  3. Deadline to Apply for a Vote By Mail Ballot

    October 23, 2020, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    The deadline to submit a Vote By Mail application to request a ballot is October 23, 2020. The registrar must have your application in hand by close of business. Applications may be dropped off in person, faxed to 276-645-7331, or emailed as an attachment to vote@bristolva.org. You may also apply online at elections.virginia.gov/Voterinformation.

  4. Saturday Early Voting at City Hours

    October 24, 2020, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    City Hall drive thru window and Council Chambers will be open for Early Voting from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.

  5. Last Day of Early Voting - Open Saturday for Early Voting

    October 31, 2020, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    This is the last day to Early Vote in-person at City Hall. The drive thru window on the Scott Street side of the building will be open in addition to the City Council Chambers. The entrance will be well-marked. Please observe COVID-19 precautions when voting in person. Wear a mask and observe 6 ft. distancing. Don't forget to bring ID when voting in person.
