[ARCHIVED] Joint Public Hearing - Zoning Changes and Special Exception Request

Two Joint Public Hearings of the Bristol Virginia City Council and the Bristol Virginia Planning Commission will be held as a part of the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bristol, Virginia City Council Chambers, located at 300 Lee Street.  The hearings will consider the following matters:

  1. SPECIAL EXCEPTION #03-2020 – 712 Oakview Avenue, Bristol, VA (Tax Map Nos. 17-15-8 - Lots 32-35) - Request to allow a community resource center in an R-2 zoning district.  
  2. PROPOSED REVISIONS to the city zoning ordinance (City Code Chapter 50, Article II) and zoning maps.  A draft copy of the proposed revised ordinance and proposed maps are available on the city website at www.bristolva.org
