[ARCHIVED] Bristol Virginia Historic Preservation Awards Program Seeks Nominations for Annual Awards


Nominations are now being accepted for the 2021 Historic Preservation Awards for the City of Bristol, Virginia.

The purpose of the award program is to recognize and honor property owners and developers who engage in preservation projects on properties located in the City of Bristol, Virginia. The city plans to award one property in each of the five historical districts: Euclid Avenue Historic District, Solar Hill Historic District, Virginia Hill Historic District, Bristol Warehouse Historic District, and Bristol Downtown Commercial Historic District. Properties located outside of Bristol, Virginia's historic districts, but within city limits, are eligible for nomination. 

The 2021 award recipients will be recognized in May 2021. Properties are selected based on exterior appearance only.

Nomination forms may be printed and mailed or submitted directly online from the city's website at Deadline for nominations, including self-nominations, is March 31, 2021.
