Therefore,
Concerning City Council and all other boards and committees,
A. All resolutions, ordinances, and other documents not excluded per Code of Virginia should be posted on the City website as soon as practical and not less than one full day before relevant meetings, with email and text Alerts sent to applicable subscribers on posting.
B. All such materials made available at the City library for such residents as do not own computers.
C. The Council and other such boards should adopt internal rules that no business will be voted concerning unless such full details are published in advance on the Website and in the Library.
D. Any and all called meetings should be held no earlier than 6pm if on a weekday, and no called meetings should be held on Sundays.

I would like to see public discussion on the website, which would create a sense of community. Perhaps this could come in the form of a (moderated) forum, since some in the City management do not like...

I would like to see public discussion on the website, which would create a sense of community. Perhaps this could come in the form of a (moderated) forum, since some in the City management do not like Facebook. The personal profile pages allow posts, but not topical discussion.
